winners of the Ultimate Thailand Explorers competition, Aubrey and Parker. An interesting fact about us is that we are both from Metro Detroit (and a 45 minute drive away from each other), yet we didn't meet until we were halfway around the world in Thailand! We have both been living in Bangkok for about a year and a half and we are in love with Thailand and its people. We both work at different International Schools in the city; Aubrey teaches Nursery and Parker teaches Kindergarten (K3) and soccer.
Aubrey graduated in 2008 with a BFA in Graphic Design and a BFA in Art Education from Michigan State University. She excels in freelance design and has experience with everything from website layout to logos. Aubrey enjoys running, art, photography, ethnic foods, panda bears and trying new things.
Parker graduated from Indiana University with a degree in English and a minor in Political Science. He plans on getting his Masters degree soon in Screenplay Writing. Parker has always had a love for sports and has continuously been playing them and writing about them since a young age. Football, lacrosse, swimming, and alpine skiing are passions of his and both Aubrey and Parker love leading an active lifestyle and challenging themselves on a daily basis.
Aubrey and Parker come from a diverse background; Aubrey is Chinese and Italian and Parker's grandmother was born and raised in Australia and lived in New Zealand. We love meeting new people and learning about different cultures. We are young, enthusiastic, and ready to share all that Chiang Mai has to offer with you!
